In 1888 impressionist Claude Monet painted the piece Landscape with Figures, Giverny. Monet wasn’t known for his attention to detail when it came to his human subjects but in this piece you get an unusually detailed look at the family out for a stroll. The rural setting and natural colors create a soft autumn scene, with the sun setting in the background. Brown and tan dominate the color scheme, but the bright blue sky, add a bit of interest. It creates and ideal setting for these people to enjoy a lovely day together.
