Bed of Chrysanthemums

Created in 1881, Chrysanthemums by Claude Monet is a beautiful and elegant still life painted by the impressionist master. The colors are darker than most of Monet’s other works, giving it a more serious and somber feeling. The delicate flowers against the darker wall are lovely to look at and would be beautiful in any room of the house. The mixture of blues, grays and purples complements other cool tones in the surroundings.
