Originally created in 1876 The Shoot ( The Avenue in The park, Montgeron) was painted by impressionist Cluade Monet. Most of his landscapes depict the rural French countryside during the spring or summer seasons, but this one depicts more of a fall setting. There appear to be young men hunting for something not seen from the path between the trees. They carry their guns, but we are unable to define their expressions. The light through the trees casts a warm yellow glow across everything, giving it an inviting feeling overall.
