20″X24″Oil Painting On Canvas Created in the last month of his life, Van Gogh’s View of Auvers with Church depicts the small village north of Paris where he spent about three months in 1890. Despite not being there for long, he created a plethora of wide-ranging paintings from portraits, to landscapes, to still lifes. Interestingly, compared to his prior depictions of wheat fields, the field in the foreground of this image looks quite static. The focus rests more on the village, dominant church, and swirling blue-greens of the sky. He successfully compressed the geometric forms of the village, the sweeping fields of grain, and the turbulent skies above into a small and dense painting. Our artists have carefully handmade this reproduction to do justice to the original masterwork and to bring joy to all who see it.
